ISRO LPSC Recruitment 2026: Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India has released LPSC Recruitment 2026 through Advertisement No. LPSC/02/2026 dated 15 August 2026. The recruitment is for various posts including Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’, Draughtsman ‘B’ and Fireman ‘A’. A total of 19 vacancies are available at LPSC units located at Valiamala near Thiruvananthapuram and Bengaluru.

Vacancy Details

Technical Assistant – Mechanical: 6 posts, including Valiamala 3 and Bengaluru 3. The Bengaluru vacancies include UR, OBC and EWS reservation as shown in the notification. One vacancy is marked for PWBD-MD backlog.

Technical Assistant – Chemical: 1 post at Valiamala, reserved for UR.

Technician ‘B’ – Electronic Mechanic: 1 post at Bengaluru, reserved for UR and marked for PWBD-HH.

Technician ‘B’ – Fitter: 9 posts, including 5 at Valiamala and 4 at Bengaluru. Two posts are reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

Draughtsman ‘B’ – Mechanical: 1 UR post at Valiamala.

Fireman ‘A’: 1 OBC post at Valiamala.

LPSC Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 35 years as on 04 September 2026 for Post Nos. 813 to 817, which include Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’ and Draughtsman ‘B’. For Post No. 802 Fireman ‘A’, the maximum age limit is 25 years as on 04 September 2026. The minimum age limit is 18 years. Age relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable to OBC, SC, PWBD, Ex-Servicemen and other eligible categories as per Government of India rules.

LPSC Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process will vary according to the post. For Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’ and Draughtsman ‘B’, candidates will be required to appear for the prescribed Written Test and Skill Test, as applicable. The Skill Test is qualifying in nature as per the applicable recruitment procedure. For Fireman ‘A’, candidates must satisfy the prescribed physical fitness requirements and qualify the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) along with the other prescribed selection stages. Candidates will also be required to undergo document/certificate verification and other formalities wherever applicable.
